The annual Waikato Engineering Design Show is the high point of our internationally-recognised professional engineering degree programmes. Each year, our students excel in designing, building and testing new products, structures and solutions in response to real-world problems that matter to people, both in New Zealand and overseas. Waikato proudly boasts a full complement of professional engineering degree programmes, underpinned by Engineering NZ accreditation, offering an excellent choice for students across New Zealand eager to pursue a career in this exciting and growing industry.

Every year we have a two-day schedule packed full of exciting competitions, pitches and presentations, not to mention all the fascinating final year projects in strategic areas such as robotics and automation, energy and food, advanced materials, structures and infrastructure, geotechical engineering, smart eletrical and AI, and water and wastewater challenges.
